The zipper pull on my favorite hoodie sweater. I should have put some texture in the background. Spectracolor crimson red. Kept breaking like my Prismacolors. Annoying, that.
What a great idea. Love these drawings. I guess the idea is to really get you to focus on the object - to really look at it. I can see how this would improve your drawing skills. It's also nice to see coloured pencil being used in this way - I find it's a difficult medium to use, quite unforgiving. Very interesting stuff, real food for thought.

Mostly I use the colored pencil because it doesn't erase. If I used a pencil I'd spend my four minutes erasing stuff.
That's another reason I decided against doing these on my computer. To much temptation to hit "undo."
